Tajumulco Volcano:

It is the highest volcano in Guatemala and Central America with 4220mts altitude, is a difficult hike which take but very amazing for the landscape, from the top you can appreciate the volcanic line and the sunrise on the “ROOF OF CENTRAL AMERICA”

Santa María Volcano:

Considerate the fourth highest volcano in Guatemala, the last eruption was in the 1,902 from the top you can see the young but active volcano Santiaguito, this is a difficult volcano with mix trail. Most the local people climb this volcano to do Mayan Ceremonies on the top, you have an amazing landscape of Quetzaltenango City and the volcanos around Xela

Sacred Volcano Laguna de Chicabal:

More than volcano is a sacred place for the Mayan people, is the best place to feel the pure air, know about the COSMOVISION MAYA and about Mayan Calendar, many locals climb this volcano to do the rituals and ask for advices to the ancestor using the fire, candles and nahuales during the Mayan Ceremony in cloud forest.

Easy hike and natural trail to see the most active volcano in Guatemala Santiaguito erupting every 2 hours, start to be active in 1923, during the eruption destroyed one village now is known us “Pueblo Fantasma” it was EL Palmar. The sound of this volcano sound like a plane, sometimes we have some ash in the view point and feel the sulfur.
